It's your choice
Joshua 24:15 ESV
...And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
It's your choice. We all face decisions we have to make in this life. Some seem smaller than others. Then others seem so overwhelming that we may want to run and hide under a rock. Yet, more often than not most people avoid making any decision at all. You just meander through life going with the flow. Never going against the grain and always accepting whatever life brings your way.
Yet, you find yourself unhappy and wondering when things will ever change for you. When will I stop being depressed? When will I be happy? When will my life change for the better? Yet, you refuse to make the decision to change.
Yes, GOD is aware of that thing that happened to you as a child. He understands that some things were out of your control. Yes, it was unfair. This word is not sent to belittle anything that has taken place in your life, nor is it an attempt to ignore the pain and fear those things have caused you. Yet, HIS word still remains; CHOOSE!!!
The LORD made it very clear to me this morning that it is imperative that you understand that you can choose to believe HIS word and HIS promises for your life. That by choosing to walk in the power and authority HE has given you to walk in that you will walk in victory and abundance. It is so important that you know that although you face opposition HIS word and HIS promises are sure.
Rest today in knowing that GOD is faithful. Make the choice today to believe HIS word for your life. Choose this day to walk by faith and not by sight. I promise you that HE will never fail you. This I know for myself.
