Sweet Peace
Philippians 4:6-8 ESV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to GOD. And the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
There is nothing greater than the peace of GOD. It is not until you are in a place for which you should be losing your mind, but you can't shed another tear. That place when the peace of GOD just takes over and lays your mind at rest.
I am almost without words to describe HIS peace in this very hour. You see it's so sweet that it'll get you out of bed, when what took place should make you want to crawl back in bed and hide your face under the covers. Before I could began to ask GOD how? He took me to verse eight which begins with finally, brothers, whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable and if anything be excellent or worthy of praise to think on these things.
I choose this day to rest in the peace of GOD. I choose to think on the things that are true in my life; not the facts, but the truth. I choose to think of the things that are worthy of praise to our GOD! Today I choose to stay at rest!
