Don't lose your praise

Psalm 22:3 ESV

Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.

Whatever you do in this season of your life, do not lose your praise!  I know that things may seem tough right now.  I know it appears GOD is slow to answer you.  Yet, I must encourage you not to quit. 

So often when we are in a holding pattern we are tempted to believe that GOD has forgotten about us.  Or we begin to wonder if HE ever heard us or if HE will come through for someone like me.  Yet, I am here to tell you that the best thing you can do in the wait is to praise HIM!

A sister in CHRIST who was mentoring me after my divorce and loss of so much in my life said this to me; “Baby you’ve got to learn to praise HIM in advance!  Show HIM that you believe HIM by living and praising as if HE has already given you the very thing you are believing HIM for!”  So, I ask you, when was the last time you’ve praised GOD?  Not for what HE has already done, but for what you are believing HIM to do for you.

This scripture tells us that he is enthroned (inhabits) in the praises of HIS people. So, if GOD is in our praise; if HE is present in such an atmosphere, then why haven’t you created such an atmosphere for HIM to inhabit?

I’m human, and I would much rather be in an atmosphere where I am praised or at least receiving some positive feedback; opposed to hearing complaint after complaint, after complaint.  What kind of atmosphere will you set for our Heavenly FATHER today?  I pray you will give him some praise to inhabit.
