HE's worth the wait
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
I've encountered many storms in my life. During some of which I was not sure that I would survive them. It seemed as though the wait would never end. It was as if I'd never get to the other side to experience the promises GOD had made to me.
Yet, what I have discovered is that, it's not about getting over to the other side. It is about what you do while you wait to get to your promised land. The other side has already been promised. So the wait should be easy right?
I am going to be totally transparent with you. As I look back over my life I can tell you that I did not always wait well. I remember the nights of many tears and sorrow. I remember the fear being so overwhelming I could hardly breathe and sleep eluded me.
However, this day, I can tell you that I don't mind waiting on GOD. I believe every word written and every one that HE has spoken to my spirit. I believe to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
No matter what is said or done around me; I'm waiting on HIM. When we wait on GOD, HE gives us the strength and the fortitude to soar above "it" all!
