No Eraser
Matthew 4:4 ESV
But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of GOD'.
I am just in awe of GOD. HE never ceases to amaze me. "It is written!" We are often reminded of this phrase. Most of the time we are told to repeat it to the enemy of our souls when he comes against us as he did our savior that day in the wilderness. I have. I've reminded him that it is written. Yet today, I know that when it leaves my lips from this day forward he'll not only cease to attack me, but all of his minions will bow down in utter despair.
It's clearer to me now that the enemy's only advantage is our lack of knowledge and the depth of our knowledge. You see I spoke those words, but I really didn't understand what I was working with.
You see in that day and time, there were no erasers. Everything written was permanent and unable to be altered. Decrees from the king even sealed with the signet ring of the king to show and prove it's authenticity and to solidify it's importance.
Today, I say unto you that there is no erasing the word and the promises of our GOD. HE speaks and it is! Everything that proceeds from HIS mouth is the ultimate law! No changing, no erasing! HE's sealed it with HIS promise!
I pray this changes your life today. I pray that you will truly see the power that rests in the knowledge and full understanding that every promise the LORD made; that it is for you. I pray that you will understand the power of GOD's written word in your life. I pray today the words "you shall live and not die" or the written word "I shall supply all your needs according to my riches in glory" and on and on will resignate in your spirit. That you will know, understand and come into agreement with every word from our FATHER. I pray you will understand, that because HE spoke it; and it is written that it is forever true!
NO thing can stop it. NO thing can erase it. Even if someone chose to burn every bible in the world; it has still been written, GOD still spoke it and it is forever true!
May you will walk in full knowledge and understanding of the word of GOD. May you find a new level of strength in JESUS CHRIST. May you walk this day and forever more, free of the shackles and strongholds that use to bind you and that you'll live this life in the full power and authority that has already been given unto you by our savior at his resurrection! In JESUS name!
