Right before the break

Exodus 14:12 ESV

Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: 'Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians'? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness..."

Sometimes it appears that while you are waiting on the LORD, that you are going to die right where you are.  It may feel as though you will never see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.  Yet, I say unto you, it's darkest right before your greatest miracle!

You've received a promise from GOD, and you've been obedient.  You've moved when HE's said move and you've stood still when HE said be still.  You've shut your mouth when HE has said be quiet and you've spoken only when HE has said.  You've followed every direction HE has given you.  HE has lined up everything as HE has promised.  Yet you've come to your red sea.

Let me encourage you today.  You will often face the worst opposition right before the breaking forth of your miracle.  You see like the children of Israel you've run into what seems like the end.  It seems like your path has ended and you have nowhere to go.  The enemy behind you is too great to fight and the sea before you is way too much water to swallow.

Yet, I say that you stretch forth your hand as Moses did.  Stretch it forward in praise.  Raise your hands and declare a highway be erected right in the middle o f your sea!  You shall live and you shall come out on the other side.  However, the things that have haunted you, they'll drown behind you.  As you watch it, don't lose focus, just give GOD all the praise, glory and honor!
