You got it!

I pray that this word blesses you the way that it has blessed me over the last two weeks.  I heard this pastor preaching and it was enlightening.  It hasn't left my soul.  It was both an eye-opening experience and full confirmation to what my soul knows!

So often this verse is read and we walk away feeling that if we can muster up enough faith to believe something; we'll receive it.  Yet, this is not what his verse says.  It tells us that whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that we have received it, and it will be yours.

Received - something has been accepted.  You've already taken possession of it!

When you believe you've already received a thing.  Your actions begin to change.  For example, you choose the color and begin to paint the nursery of the baby you are expecting to conceive.  You've brought diapers and wipes.  You purchase a bed and you begin to pick out baby names.  Yes, I know it's crazy, but it's that crazy faith that moves GOD.

One of the things I love about the word of GOD is the sureties that lie within it.  "It will be yours!"  Not it might be.  GOD didn't say if you are perfect today than it's possible.  No!  HE said believe that you've already received the thing you've asked HIM for and it shall be yours.

I pray today that you will take GOD at HIS word. That you will believe that HIS promises are for you.  Begin preparing for that very thing that you've prayed about and act as if you've already received it.  For according to the word of GOD, you've got it!
