Take heart
Matthew 14:27-33 ESV
But immediately JESUS spoke to them, saying, "Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid." And Peter answered him, "LORD, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water." He said, "Come." So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to JESUS. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, "LORD, save me." JESUS immediately reached out HIS hand and took hold of him, saying to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped HIM, saying, "Truly you are the Son of GOD."
Many of you reading this reside in Florida, as do I. Others or you are in the UK and other parts of the world. However, this word is for everyone....Take heart!
GOD has not stopped being GOD because of a storm, a missile or anything else. Pay attention, be prepared, take whatever actions the authorities in your area require of you to take. Yet, whatever you do, don't allow what is going on around you cause you to lose your faith in the one and only wise GOD that we serve.
We serve a GOD that can cause a man to walk on water at the man's request. The same GOD held the Sun in it's place for another man who asked. HE has even turned back time for another. HE has turned away death for another. HE parted the Red Sea so that HIS children could walk across on dry land. All while their enemies chased them to kill them. Yet our GOD put a divide between them. Their enemies may have been close, but HE never allowed them to touch HIS children. HE utterly destroyed them for attempting to do so.
Choose to rest in GOD knowing that HE is still in control, HE still hears our prayers and that there is nothing too hard for HIM.
I am praying for the safety of everyone. Those that are in Florida and everyone across this nation Remember to take heart, no matter what you are facing today, knowing that your water walking JESUS is still sitting high with HIS eyes and hands upon you!
