Look again
1 Kings 18:43 ESV
And he said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." And he went up and looked and said, "There is nothing." And he said, "Go again," seven times.
Sometimes in life we will receive reports that are opposite of what GOD has promised us. I want to encourage your hearts today and tell you to look again!
I know someone just said, "I'm tired of looking." For your heart is breaking each time you have hopes that all will be well with your child, your health, your marriage or your wealth. Yet, I tell you to change your perspective.
The prophet sent his servant back to look for rain, seven times. Seven! Not once or twice, but seven. Not because he was crazy, but because his faith in GOD was! Stop looking at what the outcome appears to be and keep your focus on the GOD that made you the promise. Yes, I know it can seem easier to say than to do. Yet, again I say change your perspective and look again. For I hear the sound of an abundance of rain.
