Silent Strength

Psalm 46:10 ESV

"Be still, and know that I am GOD.  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"

So often in "the still" we find struggle.  Struggle with our own humanity to wait and to be silent.  Often frustration comes because we want results right now.  We want to be vindicated right now.  Yet, we fail to realize that GOD is always for us.  HE has our best interest at heart and HE will always defend, guard, guide and protect us.

Have you stopped long enough to consider that "the still" might just be for you?  For your development; for your faith.  You see the ability to be still not only defines you, but it refines you.  In the still you must trust that GOD's ways are better than yours.  You must trust that HIS timing is perfect.  You must trust that in the end you will always come out the victor.

So let HIM speak for you.  Allow GOD to refine you and trust HIS process!  You'll be better for it.  It takes more strength to be quiet, than it does to let someone have "a piece" of your mind.  Choose GOD's "peace" instead and watch how you come out on the other side a victor in more ways than one.
