Day 13 - #Thankful21
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Today I am thankful for the Holy Spirit. When I tell you GOD keeps us for real, HE does! I know this blog may not be grammatically correct. But I have to write it how I feel it. You see GOD has been so good to me. Although today was a challenge, really the last 24 hours. Yet, the comforter of my soul the Holy Spirit has kept me.
I made a decision several months back. Not that I haven't made the decision before. But as you go from faith to faith and glory to glory things change. More is required of you and at every level you have to make a decision. I've made the decision that I'm going to believe the word of GOD. I've made the decision to keep my eyes on HIM.
Yes, you guessed it the closer I get to the next level the more the distractions and what appears to be disappointments come. Yet, because I know my GOD, I have chosen to see all of my opposition as opportunities.
I want to encourage you today to operate in the spirit and not the flesh. No matter what happens or how things seem, remember that everything in this world is a battle for your soul. Will I tell a little white lie? Will I deceive him or her....no one will know. Well, those little moments can make a big difference in your life and affect your character and change the course of your life forever.
Keep your eyes focused on GOD. You don't have to worry about making HIS promises come to pass that's HIS job. You just stay focused on HIM and keep moving forward so that you may rest in his peace and have the abundant life HE has prepared for you.
