Day 6 #Thankful21

Anyone who does not love does not know GOD, because GOD is love.

Today I am thankful for love. For the love of GOD specifically.  As I prepared to type this I felt led to share why I often hashtag the saying "HIS Love Changed My Life".  It's been almost 14 years ago now.  I was at a point where everything I thought was real came crumbling down around me.  The places I thought that I could go to find peace, solace and support I soon found were only facades.    

Yet, it was in that dark place.  That place where those who should have been there for me walked away.  It was there where the love of GOD met me. GOD not only healed me, but HE gave me a revelation of who I am in HIM; who HE has called me to be and the plan HE has for my life.  

I want to encourage you today to love someone. Let the love of GOD use your heart to change the life of someone else today.  Be they a co-worker or a stranger.  We so often justify our rudeness, meanness or the choice we make to withhold our love and forgiveness from others.  Yet, I say to you; you may be justified, but are you pleasing GOD?

Do you not remember what it was like before GOD's love rescued you?  It was HIS love that drew you to HIM.  It will be HIS love through you that will draw your children, friends, co-workers and even strangers.  Love doesn't make sense, but it heals.  Will you let GOD use your heart today?
