Day 8 - #Thankful21
I Corinthians 13:8 NKJV
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease: whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
Today I am thankful for Love! When nothing else remains, love will always remain and it never fails. It is eternal.
I'm thankful first and foremost for the love of GOD that reconciled us back to HIM. For the love that causes HIM to forgive us over and over again and never hold it to our charge. I am grateful for love of family and friends. The family I was given through birth and the family GOD has given to me. It's different when others choose to be your family and love you unconditionally. When you're born to a family it's by default (lol!) and yes that bond is strong. Yet, I've discovered in this season of my life how beautiful it is when GOD allows others to choose to love you as if you were their family by default.
I'm thankful for two members of my family in particular. Ciera and Christopher the two most beautiful gifts GOD has ever given to me. Their love has made me walk right when every ounce of me wanted to do wrong, even just for 5 minutes. Yet, their love gave me no other choice but to choose right. And in the moments when I fall their undying love makes me fight to get back up and keep on going.
To the crew, Shan, Jan, Tan and the Court, everyday you are reminders of GOD's love towards me. Thank you for allowing me to be your sister/friend and for being mine. This blog would go on and on with the list of favorite aunts and besties. But because you love me no matter what. Just know you're loved and I thank GOD for you.
To my subscribers and followers I am thankful to GOD for you. Not because you follow me or because you subscribe to my blog. But because you allow me to share with you the love of GOD everyday, for HIS glory and honor. I pray that each day you are blessed beyond anything you can begin to think, ask or imagine.
