Stop Thinking
GOD created us to praise, not to think. Yes, I know that kind of sent your right eyebrow up into the air. Yet, I woke up this morning and the first words from GOD was do not think!
So often we get all tripped up and we take our eyes off the promises of GOD, because we are pouring our efforts into trying to figure out how GOD is going to fix a situation and bless us. When HE has not instructed us to do anything, but to have faith, believe and to praise HIM for the promises HE has made unto us.
I have been in a place believing GOD for a promise that HE made to me some years ago. In my humanity it is just plain stupid to keep believing HIM for this thing. No matter how you shake this thing, when it falls out of the box, it continues to appear to be unrepairable. Yet, my soul won't allow me to stop believing the word of GOD. I recently almost gave in to the thoughts of "This is never going to happen or take place." I was most miserable. Not because of what took place in the physical, but because my soul was not at rest. My soul is in utter disarray when I do anything short of believing GOD's word for my life. So I'm moving forward and continuing to praise HIM in advance for it.
I am this day convinced that even if it takes 1000 years for it to come to pass; that because GOD promised me that I would see it, then that just means that I'm going to live another 1000 years. So I'm praising HIM every single day of my life for what is to come. I am not concerned about the thoughts of others or how I may appear to them. All I care about is the word of GOD. I pray that the following scripture encourages you to stop thinking and to keep on believing as it has done me this day!

let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

so are my ways higher than your ways

and do not return there but water the earth,

giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
12 “For you shall go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills before you
shall break forth into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
and it shall make a name for the Lord,
an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
