The circle

2 Corinthians 12:9  ESV

But HE said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of CHRIST may rest upon me.

Yesterday, in the midst of a great day, I found myself in a moment for which I needed to reach out to my support system for prayer.  It was one of those moments that just seemed misplaced.  You know that moment in the midst of the day of highs, that seems to catch you off guard.

Well, I reached out and one of my prayer partners called me.  She said these words.  "GOD reminded me today that HIS strength is made perfect in our weakness.  I felt like I had no more to give, but GOD assigned me to an individual this week to pray for and pour into.  So, I've spent no time praying for myself, because I knew that someone, somewhere was praying my strength and so through the strength that GOD would provide for me, I will do HIS will."

You see it's a circle.  It seems as though the times in which GOD  assigns us to pray for, uplift and encourage someone else, is often the time in which we feel that we have no more to give.  I want to encourage you today, to trust GOD to be your strength and to forge forward.  So often we are led to believe that we should never appear weak to others.  However, it is not always the strong moments you have that encourages others.  So often, it is when others see you ministering and being obedient to GOD when they know you are at your weakest is the very thing they needed to strengthen them to stay in the race.

So in spite of how you feel, don't you stop where you are.  Don't you quit!  For someone, somewhere needs you in your weak moment to allow GOD's strength through you to minster to them.  Step into the gap, so the circle continues and others are encouraged.
