A Sure Thing

Matthew 7:7-8 ESV

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.


One of the things I love the most about the word of GOD is its surety.  GOD never says to us, well, I might.  Perhaps I will do it for you.  Nor does HE ever say, let me see.....I can possibly do that for you.  NO!  Everything about HIS word is sure.  HE speaks in surety.  HE speaks in definitive language. 

Rest this day in knowing that the word of GOD is sure.  That HE has opened doors for you.  Just because you cannot see them in the physical yet, doesn't mean it has not already taken place.  Be confident in the word of GOD.  Know without a doubt that HIS promises are for you.  Yes, you.  Your past doesn't scare HIM.  HE is not moved even by your present thoughts or actions.  HE loves you so much that HE came to this earth and died for all of our sins, past, present and future.  When HE looks at us HE sees HIS blood and we are always perfect in HIS eyes.

I pray today that you will have the faith to believe GOD.  Not just for what HE has promised, but for who HE says that you are.  I pray this revelation will produce a fire in you that will cause you to ask, seek and knock.  Knowing that your asking will bring about HIS giving. That your seeking will bring  about a finding of HIM that revolutionizes your thought process.  I pray that you'll knock and that HE will blow your socks off with the doors that HE opens for you!

I love you for real and I'm praying for each of you each day!  Believe it.  It's true.  I write each day the words GOD gives me, with you in mind.  You have not accidentally come across this blog.  It didn't just happen to show up in your friend's Facebook feed. You were directed here today, because GOD wants you to know just how much HE loves you and that HE has great plans for your life.
