Be HIS Glory!
Colossians 3:17 ESV
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to GOD the FATHER through HIM.
I realized several years ago, that my new year starts over on the 21st of December every single year. This day is considered the first day of winter. It represents a new season; a new beginning. It is my born day.
GOD has not failed this year to do as HE has for some time now. HE gives me my new year's resolution/goal. It came to me yesterday by one of my bosses (Lady Britt Blume). The thing I love about Britt is that she loves GOD and she doesn't even know or understand how much GOD truly uses her in the lives of others. She always appears to think she is coming to get a word from me or to get my opinion but without fail, the LORD uses her to bless me. Her words were simple, but after continued confirmation throughout the day I knew it was my New Year's purpose. She simply said: "Be GOD's Glory!" The minute she spoke those words my spirit received them. As GOD had spoken to me last month about BEing HIS Love.
Britt said this: "We can stand and say, Glory be to GOD for every single thing HE "does" for us. Or we can be HIS Glory. So that when others see us, and they see how we live; they will see HIS Glory and not us! They will see HIM!"
So today, I encourage you to join me on this mission to BEcome GOD's Glory; allowing your life to become the epitome of HIS glory.
The word talks about what GOD is. It says; "GOD is Love." Not that HE has love for us or that HE feels like HE loves us. The word of GOD says that HE is Love.
Today, I am choosing to be the Glory of GOD. To live my life each day to be the face of GOD in the earth. I want to live my life so that when others look at me they will see only GOD. They will see HIS love, HIS grace, HIS mercy, HIS peace, HIS power; they will see HIM, and all for HIS Glory!
