Prepare Yourself
And the LORD answered me: "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.
As we embark on the New Year, I would like to encourage you to make it a "New" year. Enter 2018 in a new way. Prepare yourself; write out your vision. The vision should be ever before you. A continuous view of your vision/dream serves as a source of continued motivation. Having sight of it on a daily basis keeps you focused.
Allow the LORD to renew your mind each day by reading and meditating on HIS word. The word of GOD will remind you of your calling and purpose. HIS word will ensure your plans are aligned with HIS plans. HIS word will give you the correct view of yourself and your value to GOD and to this world. The word alone motivates, as it tells us that we can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens us.
So go ahead, get prepared! Don't be afraid to step out on faith. Write down that deepest desire of your heart, yes that one that time and others may say you're too old for. Write down that thing that you haven't been able to shake no matter how many times you've tried. I know you still have every excuse for why it may not work. Yet, I challenge you to find all the reasons why it will! Have faith. Make a plan. Write it down and pursue it. For you are well able to take the land!
