Strategy

2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

Strategy - the art of planning and directing overall military operations and movements in a war or a battle.

If you were asked what is your strategy for today what would you say?  Many of us would respond with all the things on our To-Do lists.  Some of us have a To-Do list for every hat that we wear.  There is nothing wrong with To-Do lists.  Yet, they are very different than a strategy. 

There is not one commanding officer I know that would march his or her troops into war without a strategy.  So why do you start each day of your life without one?  There is a war going on each and everyday of our lives.  We are privileged to know our enemy's plan.  We know just how he'll attack;  the people he'll use and lies he'll tell to advance his troops.  We know this because he uses the same things over and over again.  Yet, we go to war with the armor of GOD half on and walk ourselves right into battle with no plan other than to survive.

Well, I'd like to help you today.  Grab a sheet of paper and for every area of your life that the enemy is known to attack, write down a scripture from GOD's word that will combat the attack.  For example, if his attack is to always frustrate you first thing in the morning or to speak lies to you about your intelligence and your calling.  Then get up earlier and take some time to read the word of GOD and to pray.  Speak over your life.  "I am at peace."  "I have the mind of CHRIST; my mind is sound."  Go on to say, "My day is going to be awesome.  For GOD's favor goes before me!"  Speak life. 

You may be saying, I don't know enough scriptures to know where to begin.  Well you can change that.  Choose to take at least 5 minutes each day with GOD.  Search online for a scripture if you don't have a bible and write down the word of GOD.  Then speak it over your life everyday!
