A New Start!

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of GOD, what is good and acceptable and perfect.  


It is my prayer for you in this New Year, that you will begin with a new mind.  A new perspective; a new way of thinking.  How do I do this?  We do this by reading the word of GOD, spending time with HIM and listening to HIM.

When was the last time you asked GOD what it is that HE wants for your life?  Although HE is GOD; HE will never force you to do what it is HE has purposed for you.  GOD made us free moral agents.  However, HE is GOD; our creator, and has advised us that HE has a plan for our life.  HE also told us that the plan HE has for us is to prosper us and is for our good.  This is why our staring point should be HIM.

Decide today; the very first day of this year, to not only ask GOD to reveal HIS plan for your life but decide to actually walk the steps HE has ordered for you.  Now, don't get upset when GOD doesn't give you every step by step detail.  If HE does this, then we would never operate in faith.  We prove our faith in GOD when HE tells us to take a step, (to jump, to leap or to soar) yet we don't see where we are going to land or it appears that we have run out of ground to walk on.  I encourage you today to take that next step anyway; do it afraid if you have to.  But just do it!  I know you can't see where your feet will land, but again we walk by faith and not be sight.  Trust that if GOD told you to move your feet, that the ground itself, will have to rise up to meet you.  For GOD has promised to never forsake us and HE has promised us an abundant life.

I feel led to say to someone that a business failing or something not panning out the way you thought it would, is not a failure.  It is a learning moment.  There is a lesson in everything.  The lesson is not to punish you, it is to prepare you for the next season and level in your life.  Change how you've looked at things that did not work out the way you thought. For GOD knows the end from the beginning and has orchestrated everything for your good.  Delight in this and prepare your heart for greatness in 2018!

I pray that this new year brings you a new perspective and a new found motivation.  I pray it brings you a new drive and a new hunger for more of GOD and the abundant life that HE has planned for you!  I'll be praying for you!
