As you see it
Matthew 6:26 ESV
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly FATHER feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
This morning in prayer as I asked the LORD to give me a word for HIS people, HE showed me that many are at the mark. You know that place you come to in January after you've made all your declarations and resolutions. You know that place, when it seems like you are coming back down to reality. You've heard the prophecies; they confirm the words GOD has spoken to your spirit. Yet, your surroundings, circumstances and environment are starting to tell you it was all a dream... HIS words are simple... It will be as you see it.
The scripture above was more than a statement that GOD values you more than birds. Or that GOD would provide your basic needs. It was an identity check! Here' my Vivianized version: Hey, you do you see those birds up there in the air? They don't do anything. They don't plant seeds for food to eat nor do they pluck up a crop. Yet, GOD takes care of them. Do you not know who you are? Do you not know how valuable you are to HIM? Check yourself. Snap out of it... HE's got you!
I encourage you to continue to see yourself blessed. For GOD is faithful to fulfill every promise HE has made to you!
