It is not my job

Psalm 46:10-11 ESV

"Be still and know that I am GOD.  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"  The LORD of hosts is with us; the GOD of Jacob is our fortress.

GOD's exact words to me today, was that "it" is not my job.  "It" is not my job, because I have given "it" to HIM.  I have taken my hands off of this thing and now HE has asked me to take my mind off of it as well.  At first I thought to myself, this is easy.  I'm just going to rest in GOD like I always do.  Soon HE showed me that my mind was not at rest.  My soul knows that HE's got this.  Yet, HE had to teach my mind to stay in it's place.

It is not our job to figure out "how" GOD is going to do a thing.  It is our only job to believe that HE will and to know that HE already has.  Remember our GOD is not restricted by time.  That is for us.  HE is everlasting to everlasting.  Our GOD is, was and always will be.  Time is for man.  So today, I'm going to keep my mouth and my mind off of it.  I'm going to be still and KNOW that my GOD has it all under control.  I'll do my job of being HIS love in this earth.  I'll do my job of being HIS glory in the earth.  I'll do whatever HE tells me to do, with full assurance that HE's always on HIS job!
