A Determined Mind
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, GOD will reveal that also to you.
Get your mind right! Decide right now, that from this day forward you will not be moved by anything. Plant your feet firmly in the word of GOD. Yes, things will still come to shake you. Just decide today that you will remain unshaken!! The word of GOD is sure. It is immovable. So planting your feet in it guarantees stability.
Growing up I use to hear the phrase "mind over matter". Matter is described as a physical substance that occupies space and possesses rest mass. So what that statement is telling me, is that I need to get my mind above the thing that seems to be occupying the space I need to either walk through, walk over, pass by or possess. The phrase that often followed in my coaches speech were the words.."If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.!" Then I saw both phrases as just some cliche' my coaches used to get me to push harder and or to believe in myself. Well, they were just that, but oh baby, they are so much more!!! I can hear the words now, but today I hear them through my spiritual ears and it sounds like this.......
Get your weight up!
Work your faith!
The thing you see in the physical is invisible in this spiritual realm of faith and has no power!!
No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
You are what you think, so think victory and winner for you are the child of the most high GOD.
People of GOD keep on pressing. Lay your sights on the top of the mountain that's before you. For soon it will be under your feet. You'll sit and survey the land. You'll look back and see all the valleys that you had to come through and all the smaller hills you had to climb and you'll know that it was GOD and GOD alone who did it for you. But don't get comfortable. This is not the end. You've got more work to do. So take the time you need; take it all in and praise GOD for it all. Then allow HIM to direct you to HIS next place HE has for you to stand and operate in the purpose of your calling. Remember that 2018 is the year to BE. I'm praying your strength that you may courageously walk by faith into the abundant life that GOD has planned for you since the beginning of time.
