Get Yo Head Right!
Job 2:9-10 ESV
Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse GOD and die." But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from GOD, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
I've received many prayer request over the last couple of weeks. I've seen things in my life happen. But I want to encourage each of you to stay the course. Job was a blessed and upright man. GOD said so HIMself. HE offered Job up to be tried by the enemy. You could look at that as being cruel. Or you can look at it from a different perspective. GOD trusted Job enough to choose him for the trial. It is the same today for us!
I want to encourage you today to realize that GOD has not changed, nor has HIS promises for your life been canceled just because something did not work out the way you "thought" it should. Just because you had to fight like hell to get over the wall to your blessing. HE never moved your blessing, nor did HE take a sharpie and mark your name out and write anothers on it.
Change does not mean that GOD has abandoned you. It is indeed a sign that HE is with you and blessing you. It all depends on how you choose to look at it. Fear will come. But fear being present does not negate your faith. Fear comes because of your faith. The spirit of fear is not of GOD, so that means it is sent by your enemy to oppose you. It is sent to detour you from the thing that it stands in front of. So even if you "feel" fear, do not accept it as your own. Rebuke it and send it back to the depths of hell from which it came!
People of GOD choose to remain and operate in a victory mindset. Our GOD won the victory for us thousands of years ago. No devil in hell, no setback, no sickness, nothing can change that, nor can it separate you from the love of GOD. So when the attempted setbacks come, then you clapback! Yep, I said it! Clapback! Don't sit there and take the attack. Combat it with the word of GOD. Do it like your life depends on it, because it does. The change/shift/breakthrough you've been waiting for is on the other side of this thing! The question is, do you want it? If so, get yo head right! Adjust your helmet of salvation, and go get what's yours!
