What Do You See?

Jeremiah 1:11-12 ESV
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see?  And I said, "I see an almond branch."  Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it."

Perception is reality.  My old sales manager use to say that to me all the time.  As I've grown older I seem to get more and more insight on what that means.  I've asked GOD lately for clarity and clear discernment; to be able to hear HIM clearly and to see in the spirit.  This morning HE said this to me.  "Having the mind of CHRIST changes how you see."

Consider how two people can look at the same picture, from what appears to be the same angle and both see something totally different.  Perhaps you've experienced it in a classroom or some other teaching setting.  Where the teacher will put a random picture on the screen.  One person will see an old lady, the other a young lady and another will see both the old lady and the young lady, all while looking at the very same picture.  The picture is the same, but seen/viewed in different ways.

Often what we see is shaped by what we think; our mindset.  What is it that you see about your life today?  Do you see the Love of JESUS?  Do you see yourself as HIS?  Do you wake up every morning and expect miracles to be performed in your life?  It is my prayer for you today, that you will see yourself as GOD sees you.  HE sees you as righteous.  You are HIS beloved.  Yes, HE knows what you've done or even what you're thinking about doing, yet all HE sees is goodness.  Why?  Because HE traded places with you.  HE took on your sins, once and for all and HE gave you HIS blood.  So when HE looks at you, all HE sees is HIS blood and HIS righteousness.

Oh how I pray for you to see what HE sees in every area of your life.  I love you people of GOD and I am praying for you!
