Where is HE?

Matthew 28:20b  ESV

....And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

When GOD has promised to be with us to the end of the world, why is it that we can feel as though HE is so far away?  It's simple; it's our feelings.  GOD has nothing to do with our feelings.  HE is GOD in spite of how we feel.  HE is with you in spite of how you feel.  Today you might feel like you're on top of the world and tomorrow you may feel like you're underneath it.  Neither of which changes your position of being in HIS hands.  

Today, I want to encourage you to see GOD differently than you have before.  So often we are convinced that HE is just up in Heaven waiting for us to do something wrong so that HE can cast us into hell.  When in fact it is the opposite.  HE is with us always.  Waiting for us to desire HIM and to draw closer to HIM in prayer, studying of HIS word and worship.  Prayer is a conversation that has no rules.  You do not have to pray like your Pastor or leaders or anyone for that manner.  Try having a conversation, like with a friend.  HE won't mind.  

Studying HIS word allows you to learn of HIM.  To learn of HIS love for you and how much HE truly desires to bless you and give you an abundant life.  And then there's worship.  Worship is more than just clapping of the hands.  The hand clapping, shouting and running is often the results you get when you begin to worship HIM.  You see HE created you to worship HIM.  Worship is intimate, even when you are standing in a room full of people.  It is this way because when you are pouring out praise unto HIM and you begin to think about all HE has done for you, in you and through you the shame of anything you could've done becomes undone.  All the hurt and pain falls off at HIS feet and there HE takes them and pours out HIS love into the places where the hurt and pain once dwell and HE heals you!  Oh Glory!

I pray today, that you will see that GOD is not far from you at all.  Change your mindset about who HE is and where HE is and know that the same way HE is ever present with me, that HE is also ever present with you and every other human on this planet.  I know that might be a lot to wrap your mind around, but I dare you to just believe.  Believe that HE is with you and live like you'll never lose HIM.  For HE has promised to be with you even until the end of this world and I believe HIS very word!
