The Desires of your Heart

Psalm 37:4 ESV
Delight yourself in the LORD, and HE will give you the desires of your heart.

The minute I woke up this morning I was reminded of the Love of GOD.  It is so amazing!  As I sat on the edge of my bed HE said to me, "It's the little things!" Then I was reminded of an event that took place after bible study last night.  A sister from our church gave my daughter a small gift in a store bag.  Anyone looking at it would have seen it as no big deal.  Yet, not even I knew that my daughter had desired this item.  When the sister gave her the bag, my daughter saw through it and began to smile.  She told the sister how she had wanted that particular item.  The sister responded, "Really? Take it out the bag and look at it."  Ciera (my daughter) responded, "I am sure." She took the item out of the bag and proceeded to tell the sister how her and her brother were in the store, when she noticed the item and thought, I'd really like to have those.  She walked away knowing she could not afford the purchase at that time and never said a about it.  Days later this sister was in the store. She told us how she was done purchasing the items she needed and she walked over to that particular area of the store to pick up something she wanted.  As she walked over to that particular area, the item my daughter desired caught her eye. She said she felt drawn to it.  But said within herself, "I didn't know those existed."  Still looking at them, she reasoned within herself and said"...but I don't need those."  Immediately, she heard the LORD say to her, "But Ciera does!"So she purchased them and gave them to my daughter on last night. 

I want to encourage you today to remember how much GOD loves you.  How HE desires to bless you.  Not just with your needs but your wants also.  Even the little things!  HE cares about every facet of your life.  Stay encouraged people of GOD.  Continue to trust that GOD is in everything; even the little things.  I pray HIS blessings upon you today.  I pray that HE will show forth HIS favor and that you will walk in the power and might given unto you by Heaven.  In JESUS name!
