While you wait

Psalm 27:14 ESV

Wait for the LORD; be strong , and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!

I wish that I could tell you that I've always waited so patiently.  But it would be a lie to say the least.  I don't regret the times that I struggled to wait.  For had it not been for those times, I wouldn't be right here, right now; writing this blog.  You see, it was in the times that I did not wait so well, that I've found the peace needed to wait with courage and strength.  It was in the times when fear came upon me and I was weak, that GOD showed forth HIS strength and  carried me through.  

I can look back at the times when I fell apart and have no regrets, because each time that GOD put me back together I had a new testimony of HIS ability to do so.  Pay attention to the word of GOD.  HE reassures us over and over again, because HE knows us and HE loves us.  HE wants us to know that HE understands that it is not easy to wait.  So, HE says be strong, let your heart take courage and then HE repeats....wait!

Our waiting proves our trust in HIM and our faith that HE will keep HIS word.  This verse says wait on the LORD.  Not on Vivian.  Not on a friend or family member, but on the LORD.  So if we are waiting on HIM, then why don't we realize that there is no way that our wait will be in vain?  I want to encourage you today, that even though you don't see a way out and you don't know how the story is going to end just trust that GOD does and wait on HIM!
