Always

Psalm 34:1-3 ESV

I will bless the LORD at all times; HIS praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad.  Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt HIS name together!

No matter what it is you're facing today, I want to encourage you to give GOD praise.  I know that you may not always feel like it, because you may feel like you're drowning and GOD has not heard you.  Yet, I want to remind you that HE is in the midst of your situation and no matter what it looks like, that GOD is always worthy of our praise.  

Praising HIM and declaring HIS word over my life is what keeps me in the times when it is hard to believe.  Or it's just hard to press through.  When I began to declare HIS word over my life and give HIM praise; my focus shifts from my problem to my creator.  

So often when I am sharing I get the words "You just don't understand."  I wish at times this was true.  I wish that I could be void of the heartbreak, the fears and the trials.  Yet, what I know is that without them GOD could not trust me.  HE could not trust me to minister to others week in and week out.  At some point I would become dependent on my own knowledge and abilities.  Yet, because I have a well of testimonies to draw from, I can tell you without reservation to praise HIM and to trust HIM.  For there have been so many times that this was all that I had, yet it was all that I needed.  So I say to you.....Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt HIS name together!
