You Are Mine!
Psalm 43:1b-2 ESV
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
You are mine... what sweet words. To belong to GOD. Have you actually just stopped for a minute and thought about the significance of those words..... You are mine. We are GOD's!!!
Little kids often scream the words "Mine!" as they are fighting over a toy. We label them as selfish or we say they do not know how to share. But think of this on a different level. Would you want GOD to share you with the enemy? Or are you glad HE has you in the palm of HIS hands? Are you glad HE said to the enemy...."NO!! She's mine... He's mine!" And then HE went to Calvary so HE could redeem you back to HIMself? Oh how our GOD loves us!
HIS love for us moved HIM to pay the ultimate price for us; HIS blood. So why won't you sell out to HIM? Why are you not willing to just lay you, your issues, your family, your thoughts, your mind, your body and everything that is yours on the altar? Do you not realize that everything is HIS and HE has graciously given it to you? Do you not realize that the way up is down?... Down on the altar.
Total surrender to GOD brings HIM glory and brings you into a life of peace like you've never experienced before. When you give all to GOD and trust HIM to handle it all; when you trust HIM to guide and direct you, you will experience the blessed; abundant life HE has for you.
Our ideas of a good life fail in comparison to what GOD has planned for us. I promise you, being GOD's is the best choice you could ever make. HE won't force you, but HE will keep HIS word. HE will love on you, protect you, bless you, elevate you and so much more. Will you be HIS today?
