As it Were

Luke 10:19 ESV

Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

So many times I hear people say "That is just the way it is". Today I want to encourage you to say that that is the way that it was or maybe....as it were!  You see, our God has given us the power to tread over all things.  We have dominion over everything in this earth. All dominion was restored to us when Jesus went to the Cross, shed his blood, died and was resurrected. We do not have to live a life where we accept anything less than the Abundant Life that God has prepared for us.

I know you may be saying, "But you don't understand; that this particular thing runs in my family; it's in my blood." Oh, I do understand.  What I understand is that the word of God is greater than the any word any doctor can speak or any ancestor could have declared over you.  The blood that Jesus shed has cleansed you from anything that your natural blood could have placed on you. 

Today Speak Life! Today walk in power! Let today and every day be a day of victory for you. Note I said let. Let means to allow or give authority to. Let and give authority to the Holy Spirit to operate in your life today. Let and give Authority to the word of God and allow it to create in your life today new opportunities, blessings and miracles in abundance! No longer speak of past things as if they are present truth.  For things will no longer again be as they were.
