Shift It!

2 Kings 6:16-17 ESV

He said, "Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."  Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see."  So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

I woke up this morning with the words to a song in my spirit.  ...It may look like I'm surrounded, but I'm surrounded by you....this is how I fight my battles.  Then the words came.. tell them to shift it!  To shift their perspective.  

I use to read this scripture for many years, and saw it as the army of horses and chariots of fire surrounded their enemies.  Yet, I want you to take a look at the scripture with me again.  it says...So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.  The horses and chariots of fire were not around the enemy, but around the man of GOD.  And this is the word for you today; "You are surrounded!"  It may look like this thing (whatever your thing is) is closing in on you. But there is an army of heavenly hosts in between you and this "thing" and it shall not harm you.  

GOD has not left you powerless, on your own and out in the cold.  No!  There is an army with you. This army is assigned to you.  Although you may not be able to see it with your physical eyes, shift your perspective to the spiritual and by faith see your army of protection.  Then walk in the power and authority given to you by Heaven.  Fear not, oh child of GOD for your army out numbers your enemy and soon you will see everything GOD has promised you unveiled.
