Day 17 - Did You Get It?

Galatians 5:13 ESV

For you were called to freedom, brothers.  Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  

I am sure that by now you've seen the pattern of our challenge; to serve others.  Love is not about what you get.  Love gives.  True love casts out fear, it reassures, it suffers long, it forgives...love covers a multitude of sins.  

Did someone just say... I want to receive also? The word says ..Give and "it" shall be given unto you, pressed down, shaken together and running over....  If love is your "it" and you give it as GOD has given it to you, it will return to you pressed down, shaken together and running over and with 'it" will come all of its rewards.

So on to the challenge of the day............ Perform a service for your neighbor.  But not the one you like.  Try doing something for the one you don't like (or the one that doesn't seem to like you).  Cut their yard.  Take their trash receptacles to the corner for trash pick-up.  Take their paper from the curb to their door.  Leave a note on their windshield or in their mailbox thanking them for being an awesome neighbor.  You don't like any of these?  Well, come up with your own, but do something to show the love of CHRIST to your neighbors today!
