Day 23 - Be Thoughtful
Titus 3:14 ESV
And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.
Today's challenge is to simply be thoughtful. It truly is the little things that count. Help an older person put their groceries in the car (announce yourself and what you're planning to do, as not to startle them). Hold the door for someone. Bring your spouse their coffee or slippers or something really sweet that you haven't done in a long time.
Consider the times when it seemed like everything that could go wrong in your day was going wrong, and then you encounter a really kind person. Someone holds the door for you or says "GOD bless you." Then that one small act seems to cause your day to take a turn. Your perspective has shifted and you're smiling again... That was not just an isolated occurrence. That is what love does. Love is felt by those you encounter when it is displayed. So go and shift the atmosphere, one small thoughtful deed at a time!
