Day 24 - Cover Me

Psalm 41:1-2 ESV
Blessed is the one who considers the poor!  In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him; the LORD protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; you do not give him up to the will of his enemies.

This challenge comes at the end of the day, because I want you to examine your day. Take a look back at a particular situation that may have taken place in your day.  I want you to choose to cover others in love as GOD does for us each and every day.

Sometimes the things you see or choose to be offended over, really wasn't the way you perceived it.  But say that it was. Say that the person actually did mean to hurt your feelings...can you not cover them?  Can you not choose to pray for them instead of choosing to be offended.  Yes, offense is a choice.  I've learned that it doesn't matter what a persons intentions are towards me, that I get to choose how I receive their actions and how I allow it to affect me.  It's not always easy to choose to pray for a person, than to hold offense in your heart. But I can tell you that the more you choose prayer over offense, the easier it becomes for you to do so. Then soon it will be second nature.

Not only does your covering them free you, but it sends a blow to hell that confuses your enemy; while restoring your brother or sister. Examine your day, then examine your heart and pray.
