Day 5 - Listen Without Interruptions

Proverbs 11:12 ESV

Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent.

In this day and time, everyone seems to be in a hurry.   In a hurry to get our food.  In a hurry to get answers; just in a hurry.  Always rushing and never finding the time to listen to others can send a message that is opposite of what we truly feel in our hearts.  

It doesn't matter if you are interested in or even understand the subject that is being spoken about.  Understanding is not required in love.  When you love you just do.  Sometimes love itself is unexplainable. So your challenge today, is to take time to be in the moment, at all times with the ones you love.  Listen to  how their day went.  Or make time to hear about the project they are spearheading at work.  Give others the gift of your undivided attention.

For the person who just said, "I don't have time."  My response is; "Make time."  Your loved ones, your marriage and your relationships are all worth it.  So be still, be quiet and listen.
