Stronger Than You Know
2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
Isaiah 54:17 ESV
No weapon fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.
Hebrews 4:12 ESV
For the word of GOD is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
It is important that we keep a healthy perspective of ourselves. As children of GOD it is imperative that we remember who we are at all times. I am in no way advising that you walk in arrogance or that you think too highly of yourselves. But I want to encourage you to think highly of yourselves.
It may seem as though I contradicted myself, but read it again. The word says do not think too highly of yourselves; meaning to me, think highly, just don't become arrogant. The way you think is important as we build a strategy. If you believe you are defeated, then you will be. If you have a false vision of your adversary than he will defeat you every time. But when your vision of who you are as a child of GOD is balanced, you'll take the tools I'm sharing with you and you'll be more than a conqueror through JESUS CHRIST.
Yesterday we wrote down our strengths and our weaknesses. Today we are going to write down scriptures that correlate to both. Your weaknesses are not the only place that you are attacked in. Often we are attacked in the areas we consider our strengths, because we tend to cover our weaknesses more so than our strengths. When you find the scriptures that relate to both and you've written them down (either in a journal, on note cards or in your phone, etc.) then place them where they are easily accessible and be ready to use them at all times!
