The Run In

Matthew 11:12 ESV
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.

This scripture is often used to encourage us to fight.  Not physically, but spiritually.  Today, however, I want to encourage you to prepare for the fight.  I know you read your bible and spend time in prayer with GOD.  All of that is good, necessary and things I do regularly.  However, in order for you to get to the next level of your journey, you're gonna need to be strategic to do so.

The enemy of your soul is strategic.  He doesn't just wildly attack you.  He studies you; he knows what use to work on you, so those will be the things he will use to distract you. The enemy will do whatever he can to spoil the thing you are building.  He doesn't care who he uses to do it, or what he has to do. But his goal is to get you off track.

Many of  you decided at the beginning of this year that this year would be different for you.  You declared it would be better. Well, I'm going to help by giving you a few tools that will assist you with changing not only your actions, but your mindset and to help you prepare for your victory. Whether your goal is personal or includes your family.  No matter what it is you're being called to in this season, these tools will assist you.

In a journal (notebook or on plain paper if that's all you have) write down your strengths and weaknesses.  This is not an exercise that is meant to make you feel bad about yourself.  It is also not an exercise that will work if we're not honest with ourselves. So be honest, right it all down.  Pray over this list.  Keep it handy, you're gonna need it for the next step in our planning which comes tomorrow.  See you then!
