I've Got This

Luke 5:19-20 ESV

But finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before JESUS.  And when HE saw their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."

The faith of friends can be life changing.  Ask the man who was lowered down through the roof; he would tell you it's true.  I want to encourage you today to believe for someone else.  I challenge you to stand in the gap for a loved one or even a stranger. Go to GOD on their behalf.  Believe that HIS miracle working power will transform their lives.

We all desire to have those around us who would tear the roof off for us.  However, we must decide to be that kind of friend to someone else. Tell, your co-worker or relative "I've got this today!"  Let them know you're willing to believe for them until they can believe again for themselves.  We've all had days where we've felt like quitting.  As it seemed as though our burdens were too much to bear.  So we cry, scream, shout and whatever else we feel we need to do. Then before long, we are able to stand strong and boldly proclaim that we still believe the word of GOD for our lives.  

Today, remember those times, and then consider how GOD placed someone in your life who knew that your faith was strong, although you felt weak and they covered you.  Cover someone else today. For love covers, it heals and it encourages!
