The First Touch

Jeremiah 1:5 ESV

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations."

Today I heard this scripture preached and it touched me in a way it never did before.  The words were the same of course, but the message really settled in my spirit.  So much so that I couldn't wait to blog about it; about GOD's first touch in our lives.

You see this verse is so much more powerful than I think any of us have ever realized before.  It's really a weapon that dismantles every lie, trap, trick or anything the enemy can set in opposition of us.  The LORD said before I formed you in your mothers womb I knew you.  Meaning you were who I (GOD) says you are before you ever existed.  Meaning HE established us and everything attached to us before our life was ever set in motion in the physical.  Therefore nothing can stop GOD's plan for us, for we existed before we existed.  Everything you are becoming you were at the beginning.

I know it may sound a little confusing if you try to understand it from a place of logic. So try seeing it with your mind's eye; in the spirit. Know that without a shadow of a doubt that there is nothing that can ever stop the plan that GOD has for your life.  So walk boldly into every moment of your life fully confident that GOD is with you, for you and has already given you the victory.
