Make Up Your Mind

James 1:8 ESV

He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Make up your mind.  It seems so simple.  We often tell our children or our loved ones that.  We tell them to make up their mind about what it is they want/need.  Often we lack understanding as to why they can't seem to just make a decision.  Yet, I ask.. Is it indeed always that simple?

Things will come to oppose us.  Many in the form of distractions.  Yet, we have to resolve that we believe what GOD says and that we want HIS perfect will for our lives.  It may not always be easy to stand by faith and believe something that you cannot see.  Yet, you must make up your mind to stand in faith anyway.  

Today, I want to encourage you to stand no matter what you are facing in this moment.  Stand believing the word of GOD for your life and for the lives of those around you.  Stand when to stand leaves you standing alone.  Stand and then stand some more.  Ask and believe it is already done.  Stand on the surety that you are a child of the Most High GOD; knowing that HE hears your prayers and will withhold no good thing from you.
