Reliable Faith

Genesis 3:6-9 NIV
So also Abraham "believed GOD, and it was credited to him as righteousness."  Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.  Scripture foresaw that GOD would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you."  So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.  

Those who rely on faith... When I read those words my mind hopped right over to Hebrews 11:6.  For without faith it is impossible to please GOD.....

The LORD has been showing us all along that it's our faith that makes all the difference.  We must have it to please HIM.  But also we must have it to survive.  In Ephesians 6:16 it tells us... above all take up the shield of faith for with it we shall be able to quench ALL the fiery darts of the evil one.

Do you get it now?  It's your faith that moves GOD and it's your faith that keeps the enemy from moving forward.  Now I ask you, where is your faith?  Do not waiver in it.  This is not to say that fear will not come to you.  Just recognize that fear is not yours and send it back to hell where it came from!

If GOD gave you a word; If you're sure HE's going to come through for you, even if you don't see how.  Just keep right on believing HIM and praising HIM in advance for what your soul knows is coming. I am telling you, my soul knows that GOD is about to blow my mind with blessings of increase, favor, promotion, expansion and the like.  I am no exception to the rule, I am just a woman who believes GOD. I am just a daughter who relies on faith.  I am righteous in the eyes of GOD, because of my faith. Just like Abraham.  I don't have to prove I'm worthy or do any great work to get GOD to move on my behalf.  Yes, I am working for GOD and I am doing all I can in the kingdom; we all should be. But I need you to understand that I can do all of those things. I can even beg, cry and plead and I will see nothing move in my life without faith. 

Are you feeling as though you're lacking in faith?  Well, that changes right now, this minute.  Make up your mind.  Choose to believe GOD. Choose to accept that "thing" in your spirit that won't let you give up, as your assurance.  I've always believed that when my soul is excited but my situation looks bleak, that my soul has been made aware of something in advance (see the scripture above again).  You see our souls are eternal, just like our GOD.  This flesh I live in is not and sometimes it has to catch up with my spirit man. So instead of trying to convince my spirit to believe what I see, I just praise GOD in advance believing that what my soul knows is indeed coming; because it is!
