A Full Heart

Psalm 105:1-2 ESV

Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!  Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!

If you have not yet done so, I want to encourage you to take a moment and give God thanks for all He has done for you.  Consider what He has done, not what you feel, not what you think; but what our God has done.  

I am convinced that no matter what is going on in your life, that God has done something for you prior to this moment.  It may require that you adjust your perception and maybe even your attitude to choose today to have a heart full of gratitude.

You may think, Vivian you have idea how crazy my child is driving me.  I challenge you to consider the years you prayed just to have that child.  They may be driving you crazy, but they are indeed a walking miracle; a sign that God hears you and favors you.

Perhaps it's a marriage, a business, or maybe you're standing on a promise from God that has yet to be fulfilled.  Consider the fact that He thought enough of you to make you a promise.  Consider His track record and the FACT that He cannot lie.  Again, shift your perspective and begin to praise Him for even being mindful of you.   

Trust God.  But above all, praise Him for all He has done and know that He is not finished yet.  You've only just begun to see the miracles, signs and wonders that He will perform in your life.

Lord,

Today we just want to bless you.  We want to say thank you for all of your wondrous works.  Thank you God for being mindful of us. Thank you for waking us up this morning.  Thank you for the food on our table and the breathe in our lungs.  Thank you for our families; blood and those chosen for our lives by you.  Thank you for your peace that indeed passeth all understanding.  Thank you for being a shield to our mortal bodies, our minds and our souls.  Thank you for the family and church members and even random strangers that you've healed at our request.  Thank you for being a promise maker and a promise keeper. Thank you Lord for giving us the ability to create wealth, and leave legacies in the earth for generations to come that will honor you.  Thank you for your correction, and for your comforting of us in the midnight hours.  Lord, we will bless you with the fruit of our lips and tell of all of your great and mighty works.
