His Pasture

Psalm 95:7-8 ESV

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!  For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

Pasture is a place where sheep graze.  Grazing is to be fed.  It is also a process in which what is fed upon is transformed from grass to meat, milk and other necessities.  

Stop despising your pasture time.  You are angry and even bitter.  You're frustrated about the time it has taken you to receive the promises of God.  Could it be that you have failed to realize that you are in His pasture?  

In HIS pasture is safety.  For, the Shepherd; our Heavenly Father is your protection.  In His pasture there is provision.  You eat of the land that He has created and set aside just for you.  As you eat on His word you grow and the necessities (tools needed) for life are developed.  

God is not restricting you.  He has not abandoned you.  He has not forgotten about you or His promises to you.  He's just waiting for you to feed on His word; grow up and become all He's called you to be while in the grazing process.  

Open your eyes today.  See where you are. Ask God what's next; what lesson am I to learn from this?  How am I to grow in this season and how can I praise you?  How can I use what you're giving to me and doing on the inside of me for your glory?  Check yourself, check your position, feed on His word and prepare for His miracles.
