Necessary Adjustments

Ephesians 1:17-21 NKJV
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.

There were certain things that have always excited me as a child.  As a student, I loved to use the microscope.  You could take the smallest drop of anything, place it on the glass, lay the protective sheet over the top of it and place it under the microscope, and with the a few necessary adjustments, you could see, what I consider, a different world.

You see from a normal view, it just looks like a drop of water or red liquid.  If that was all I took the time to see, then that was all I saw.  Yet, my choice to not place the glass under the lens did not change the fact that there were cells, nuclei and the like in that one drop placed on the glass.  The choice not to look just meant that I didn't get to see the drop for what it was.  It meant that I had chosen to remain blind to all the other things that existed.

In this season, there is no time for us as the children of God to ignore what is happening.  It is time for us to make the necessary adjustments so that we can see in the spirit what is taking place.  Instead of being angry at your child, spouse, co-worker or the like.  Adjust your sites and see the demonic forces at play.  Stop being angry with other people and get your heart before the Lord and ask Him to examine you.  Then allow His Spirit in to cleanse you and make you whole.  Our God is faithful.  If you will allow Him to, he'll use you as a conduit through which His love flows; ultimately changing the world around you.

I know, I know you won't be made a fool of.  But won't you make a fool of the enemy of your soul?  Consider who your child, spouse or co-worker is.  This is something I have told my son for years.  "I am not your enemy, and anytime you begin to feel as though you have to fight with me, or that I don't love you or that I am against you.  Then I want you to stop, consider my heart; consider the core of me.  Then if what you are feeling about me is not in alignment with what you "know"about me; then there are other forces at play, and none of them are from God."  "So rebuke them, speak what you know to be true and dispel them all."

My words to you are the same; Examine the situation; but not from your natural point of view. Examine it in the spirit.  See things for what they are, then take your stand!  Stand up in the spirit, by getting down on your knees in the physical.  Instead of responding to your spouse, child, co-worker or anyone out of your flesh; put on the armor of God and battle in the heavenlies, until what you see on earth is what you see in the spirit according to the word of God.
