Word of Mouth
Psalm 34:1 NKJV
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Word of mouth is the best advertisement that any business can hope for. If we have friends and family members that we trust; give a recommendation for a restaurant, product or service we are more likely to utilize that particular brand or company when we are in need of service.
This is no different when it comes to our God. So I ask, what are you feeding others today? What are you eating on? The word of God says that life and death is in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat it's fruit (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV). You will eat the fruit of what you speak. So are you speaking more about your God than you are your enemy?
Stop focusing on what you believe the enemy is doing in your life. Yes, it's important that we discern when we are under attack, but not for us to talk our enemy up and give him power that he does not have. For he was stripped of all of his power, when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ got up from the grave. So if he has no power, then why are you giving him power? The more you speak of him and even the things that are happening in your life; the larger you make them. Our God is bigger, greater and stronger than anything you can face. And you're not alone; He is with you and He is facing it for you. God has not forsaken you. Praise God for who He is; what He has done and what He is about to unveil in your life. Speak of the miracles He has already performed; speak of the promises that He has made you. Praise Him in advance for what He has spoken to your spirit. For if He said it, it will indeed come to pass for our God cannot lie.
Choose today to be a walking billboard for God. You don't have to be the person that totally weirds others out at work; but try changing what you talk about. Instead of complaining all day about your life, share something good instead. Encourage someone in the LORD today. Ask God how you can pray for your co-workers, boss, clients and the like. Pray for your Pastors and leadership today. Be thankful for them. Choose today to speak life!
