The Trusted One

Job 1:8 ESV

And the LORD said to satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?

So often we desire for God to trust us with big testimonies of miracles and "large" (according to man) blessings. Yet today I must ask, Can God trust you with trial?  Can He trust you to still praise Him.  Can He trust that you won't sell yourself or jeopardize your integrity in a brief moment of grief. Can He trust you to believe His word and to hold fast to His promises no matter what the day, week, month or even year may bring?

God knew that no matter what He could trust Job.  Oh, to be trusted by God!!!  I pray today, you will search your heart and lay it before the Lord.  Ask Him to show you any place in you that He needs to clean up, strengthen and make whole.  I pray that whatever He may show you, that you'll be quick to obey His correction so that you too, may be found trustworthy in every season by our God.
