15 Days of Christmas

Phillipians 2:3-4 NKJV

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

As we near Christmas, I pray you will be reminded of the real reason for this season. I pray that your gift to this world will be to have a heart like God's. Our God put others first; He put you and I first. He could've chosen to allow us to die in our sins. We deserved and even earned it. But He didn't. Instead He robed Himself in flesh and came down to this earth and proved His love to us. He purchased us with His very own blood. There is no greater sacrifice. 

Perhaps your coworkers have gotten on your last nerve. Maybe a family member has hurt your feelings. Perhaps you've experienced a loss and you're frustrated and hurting. No matter where you are in life; choose to put someone else first today. Yes, you have the right to treat them the way you perceive they have treated you. But wouldn't you rather have a heart like God's and let His love shine brightly through you?

I'm choosing to put it all to the side today and just love..will you join me?
