Prosper in HIM

3 John 1:2 NKJV

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

When you ask most people what they want in life; most will answer that they want to be prosperous or have good success.  Yet, many will shy away from Jesus or from wanting to have any discussion about salvation or living according to God's will.  I wondered why this was the case.  The Lord revealed to me that this is due to perception and definition.  Many do not share the definition of prosperity and success that God does.  Others operate from the perspective of earning God's grace and mercy.  When the truth is; we could never earn it and God does not require us to do so (Thank you JESUS!).

I encourage you today, to compare your definition of success and prosperity to that of God's. It is indeed God's will that all should prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.  So invest in your soul.  Feed on the word of God and His promises.  Choose to be obedient to His direction and watch the word of God change your perspective and your definition of success.
