Galatians 4:7 New International Version (NIV)

⁷ So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

If asked who you are, what would you say? Would you respond with your name or state what you do in reference to your career? And if you spoke of your career, could you say it's really who you are, or was that a decision others around you made for you? No matter what you do, it is not who you are; It's simply what you do. Your position determines who you are and whose you are. Do you know that as a child of God, you're an heir? Do you know that you are always and forever victorious?  If you don't know this, or it hasn't quite settled in your spirit yet, then I suggest you begin to declare this truth over your life at the start of every day. It's my prayer that you will study the word of God and embrace this truth. If you don't know where to start, that's okay. Just ask God to show you. Ask him to show you who you are and to help you believe it. HE will do it!
